You'll practise styling and finishing, including blow-drying and setting.
You'll study the science of hair and scalp to inform safe practice.
You'll learn how to consult with clients and recommend appropriate services.
You'll develop skills in additional specialist areas through optional units of your choice.
How you will learn
You'll learn through classroom-based sessions and practical hands-on work at Michael John Academy. Assessment includes an End-Point Assessment (EPA) as part of the qualification structure, alongside ongoing assessment of your practical skills and knowledge throughout the course. Day or block release attendance gives you structured time to build and practise techniques.
