Level 2 Floristry Course in Wigan. Classes run at Wigan and Leigh College, full-time during the day. The course is free if you're 16 to 18 years old. If you're 19 or over, fees may apply. You'll need at least five GCSEs graded 3 to 9, including maths or English, to enrol. Over 35 weeks, you'll develop the practical and creative skills florists use every day. That covers flower arranging, bouquet design, plant knowledge, and working with customers.

This course offers the opportunity to gain new knowledge and skills to give access to a wide range of career opportunities in the floristry industry. It provides the opportunity to develop skills in basic floristry by assembling designs, with support and guidance in practical workshops, coursework and industrial experience.

Entry requirements

A minimum of 5 GCSE subjects graded 9-3 or equivalent including maths or English.
