Free Level 2 Falls Prevention Awareness Course. Study online, at your own pace, in your own time. The course covers why falls happen, the risks involved, how to assess and reduce those risks, and how to manage a fall when one occurs. It takes around 12 weeks to complete. Units cover falls in context, risk factors and causes, assessment and prevention, and managing falls. No formal entry requirements. You just need to be 16 or over.

It is suitable for those working with or supporting individuals who may be at risk of falling, including older adults, as well as those looking to begin a career in the health and social care sector.
Entry requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. Learners must be aged 16 or over. It may be helpful for learners to have previously achieved a Level 1 qualification in healthcare or social care, but this is not essential.
