Level 2 Fabrication And Welding Course in Peterlee. Classes run at East Durham College Technical Skills Academy, full-time during the day. It's free if you're 16 to 18 years old. If you're 19 or over, fees may apply depending on your circumstances.

The course runs over 36 weeks. You'll work through projects and assignments based on realistic workplace situations. Entry requirements

Candidates must be able to demonstrate an interest in working in the challenging and exciting field of engineering. For the level 1 diploma you will need to have Maths and English skill at a minimum of Level 1 or above 9GCSE Grade D to G) to study on the level 2 engineering programmes.
