Free Level 2 ESOL Skills for Life: Speaking and Listening course in Newton Aycliffe. Classes run at Newton Aycliffe Youth and Community Centre. Daytime sessions run part-time over 36 weeks, giving you a manageable pace alongside other commitments. You'll gain confidence communicating with people from different backgrounds and cultures.
How you will learn
You'll learn through classroom-based activities including paired and group conversations, listening exercises, and guided speaking tasks. Assessment for the Ascentis Level 2 Award in ESOL Skills for Life (Speaking and Listening) is through observed speaking and listening tasks. You'll have an initial assessment before the course starts to confirm that Level 2 is the right level for you. The centre will use this to plan your learning.
