What you will learn
You'll develop your ability to speak clearly and confidently in English across a range of situations.
You'll practise listening carefully and responding to spoken information.
You'll learn how to take part in formal and informal conversations in English.
You'll build skills for giving short talks or presentations in English.
You'll develop your understanding of different accents, speeds, and styles of spoken English.
You'll learn how to ask and answer questions accurately in English.
How you will learn
You'll learn through classroom-based activities including group discussions, role plays, and listening exercises. Assessment is practical and oral: you'll be assessed on your speaking and listening skills through observed tasks and recorded activities. There are no written exams for this Award. Your tutor will assess your performance against the Level 2 standard throughout the course.
