This course is for anyone aged 19 or over, whose first language is not English. You will need to provide ID such as a passport, a National Insurance number and we will need to ask you about your residency in the UK.

How you will learn
Classes are classroom based, with speaking and listening activities at the heart of each session. You'll take part in discussions, role plays, and listening tasks. Assessment is through observed speaking and listening tasks, completed during the course. There are no written exams for this Award.

The centre will provide most materials. Malton Adult Learning and Skills Service will confirm anything else you need before you start. You will need to bring ID such as a passport and your National Insurance number when you enrol.
