About this course

Free Level 2 Employability Skills Course in Wolverhampton. Classes run at Nova Training Bushbury, full-time during the day. The course is for 16 to 18 year olds and no previous experience is needed.

Over 13 weeks, you'll build the practical skills employers look for. Topics include job searching, interview techniques, workplace communication, and managing your own development. The course also covers skills for independent living and further study.

Who this course is for

Employability Skills qualifications are designed to support an individual successfully gaining a job, progressing in a chosen field, preparing the individual for further study and supporting the development of techniques required for successful independent living.

This qualification is aimed at anyone who wants to live a more independent life, progress in education and/or their employment prospects; get into a job, develop on the job or move onto the next job, as they progress along the career ladder.

Entry requirements

Must be aged 16 to 18 and you don't need any previous experience in the industry already.

How you will learn

You'll learn through classroom sessions at Nova Training Bushbury. Activities include group work, practical tasks, and guided exercises. Assessment is through portfolio evidence and coursework that you build up during the course. There are no written exams.
