Free Level 2 Diploma Plumbing Course in Rotherham. Classes run at Rotherham College, full-time during the day. The course runs for one year and gives you the practical skills and knowledge to enter the plumbing industry as a trainee plumber or plumber's mate. It is a step toward becoming fully qualified, not the final qualification you'll need. To join, you'll need GCSEs at grade 4 or above, or a Level 1 plumbing qualification. There's also an interview and aptitude test.
Who this course is for
This course would give you the basic skills and knowledge necessary to enter the plumbing industry as a trainee plumber or a plumber's mate. It wont make you a qualified plumber but it does form part of the training you would need to become fully qualified in the future. Level 2 will suit you if you demonstrate aptitude, or have some basic plumbing knowledge and skills either through industry experience or if you already have a level 1 plumbing qualification.
