About this course

Free Level 2 Diploma Plumbing Course in Maidstone. Classes run full-time at MidKent College Maidstone Campus. This is a focused, full-time daytime programme that takes one year to complete. You'll study health and safety, cold and hot water systems, central heating, sanitation and drainage, electrical principles, and the scientific principles behind plumbing work. Entry requires four GCSEs at grade D/3 or above, including English and maths. GCSE Science at grade 3 is advisable but not essential.

Enrol on our level 2 course and develop an in-depth understanding of the skills required for a career in the plumbing/heating or building services industries.

You will be required to undertake more technical tasks than on the level 1 programme. Youll cover:

This programme also covers environmental awareness, customer care and lots more. You will learn through practical tasks and demonstrations as well as key theory lessons

You will be continuously assessed through assignments, activity reports, a portfolio of your work and online exams

This is a study programme which includes English, maths and work experience in addition to your main programme

Entry requirements

Four GCSEs at grade D/3 or above, including English and maths at grade D/3 or above.

GCSE Science at grade 3 would be advisable, but is not essential.
