About this course

Free Level 2 Digital Skills Course in Carlisle. Classes run at Pennine Way CDC Carlisle, part-time during the day.

You'll need some existing digital experience before you start. This is not a beginner course. Over 15 weeks, the course builds your knowledge of core digital and IT skills used in everyday life and work.

You'll finish with a Gateway Qualifications Award in Digital and IT Skills at Level 2.

Who this course is for

The qualification provides learners with the essential digital skills which are needed in a wide range of situations in life and at work. Learners will develop knowledge and understanding of the core areas of Digital and an introduction to the skills required in the Digital sector.

Entry requirements

Learners will be required to take an initial assessment prior to starting this course to make sure they are on the right level for them and to ensure they have the necessary underpinning knowledge and skills to undertake the course

Learners are expected to have some prior knowledge and experience of digital and IT skills, for example the Essential Digital Skills Qualification Level 1.

This course is not suitable for the complete Beginner.
