Free Level 2 Dementia Care Course. Work-based training at your workplace. You study while you work, so your learning fits around your job role. The course covers the principles of dementia care, including how dementia affects people and how to support them well. It typically takes 12 weeks to complete. This free dementia care course leads to the NCFE Certificate in the Principles of Dementia Care, a level 2 dementia care qualification recognised in adult social care.

How you will learn
This is a work-based course, so your learning is grounded in your day-to-day care role. Assessment is through written assignments and evidence gathered from your workplace practice. You'll build a portfolio demonstrating your understanding and application of dementia care principles. Your assessor will review your work and may observe you in your role.
