About this course

Free Level 2 Dementia Care Course in Wandsworth. Classes run at LIBS Training, with a mix of online study and time in the classroom. You'll develop your understanding of dementia, how it affects people, and how to provide person-centred care. The course runs part-time over around 98 hours, one day a week during daytime hours. Before you start, you'll complete an initial assessment in English and maths and attend a short Information, Advice and Guidance session. You must be 19 or over and have the right to live and work in the UK.

Entry requirements

There are no specific entry requirements however learners should have completed initial assessments in English and Maths, attend a Information, Advice, and Guidance (IAG) session and must be 19 years of age and above.

How you will learn

This is a blended course. You'll study some content online in your own time and attend classes at the centre one day a week, between 10am and 3pm. Assessment is through written assignments and knowledge-based tasks that you complete as you work through the course. There are no exams.
