This single-unit qualification is designed to teach you about cybercrime and its risks and effects on individuals and organisations. You will investigate the accidental and malicious security threats to IT systems and data. You will also learn about system vulnerabilities and the tools and techniques used to protect users from risks and potential damage, including data loss, loss of data integrity and unauthorised access to data.

Entry requirements

This course is for 19+ learners. You need to have achieved English and Maths at Entry Level 1 or equivalent and successfully completed the Level 1 Cybersecurity course.
