About this course

Level 2 Creative Media Course in Braintree. Classes run at Adult Skills Centre Braintree, full-time during the day. It's free if you're 16 to 18 years old. If you're 19 or over, fees may apply.

This creative media qualification covers the skills and knowledge that underpin all media production and technology work. You'll explore areas including games design, website design, film, TV, radio, and sound engineering. The course runs over nine months and includes project work based on industry-style briefs. You'll also develop your English and Maths alongside your creative media classes.

You'll finish with a University of the Arts London Level 2 Diploma in Creative Media Production and Technology.

Who this course is for

The Level 2 Diploma in Multimedia Production has been designed to provide students with the skills, knowledge and understanding necessary to progress to further study and training in a range of media related subjects, including games design, website design, film, TV, radio, sound engineering and others.

Entry requirements

4 GCSEs (9-3) including English and Maths, or Level 1 Functional Skills equivalent, or satisfactory results (Merit/Distinction) in a relevant Level 1 qualification, and an interview.
