Free Level 2 Counselling Course. Study online, at your own pace, in your own time. This free counselling course for adults is fully online, so there is no need to travel to a centre. You study counselling theories, key therapeutic approaches, and how to reflect on your own values and beliefs. The course typically takes 12 weeks to complete. All study materials are provided through an online platform. You need to be aged 19 or over to be eligible.

How you will learn
You study through an online platform that provides all learning materials. Assessment is unit-based. For Unit 4, you must demonstrate core counselling skills in a helping relationship. You can do this by submitting a video recording of yourself, or by having an appropriate witness observe you and complete a witness statement. An appropriate witness is someone with relevant experience, knowledge, or qualifications in counselling skills.
