If you are already confident with Office applications and want to build on your knowledge and skills, this course is ideal for you. This is a Level 2 course and is a considerable commitment as you will need to complete 2 units out of 3 to gain the full qualification. Entry requirements

You should already be confident with your Digital and IT skills before enrolling on this course and you may already have completed a Level 1 IT course or equivalent. We will ask you to complete an initial assessment before you start the course to make sure this is the right course for you

What you will learn

  • You'll create and format documents using word processing software.
  • You'll build and deliver presentations using presentation software.
  • You'll work with data and formulas using spreadsheet software.
  • You'll apply your skills across at least two of these software areas to meet the qualification requirements.

How you will learn

Classes are small, with no more than 12 learners per group. You'll learn in a classroom setting with tutor support throughout. Assessment is unit-based: you complete two units from a choice of three. Each unit is assessed through practical tasks that demonstrate your skills in the software you have studied.
