Free Level 2 Car Mechanic Course in Liverpool. Classes run full-time at The City of Liverpool College - Vauxhall Road, during the day. This free car mechanic course takes one year to complete. You'll build knowledge of motor vehicle systems and develop the practical skills needed to work in the automotive industry. Entry requires at least four GCSEs at grade C/4 or above in English or maths, or an equivalent Level 1 vocational qualification. How you will learn
You'll learn through classroom sessions and practical workshop activity. Assessment is through a combination of written assignments, practical tasks, and observations of your work. You'll be assessed on your ability to apply knowledge of vehicle systems and carry out maintenance and repair procedures to the required standard.
