Free Level 2 Business And Accounting Course in Preston. Classes run at Cardinal Newman College, full-time during the day.

The course is free for 16 to 19 year olds. You'll study enterprise, finance, marketing, branding, customer service, recruitment, and online business. You'll also complete a one-week work experience placement. The course takes one year and builds a portfolio of 12 units, all internally assessed.

You'll finish with a Pearson Edexcel BTEC First Certificate in Business.

Who this course is for

You will get an introduction to all the key areas that make a business tick. This is done in a highly practical way, with trips and visits arranged to make your studies come to life. You will really enjoy this course if you prefer to work at your own pace and set your own targets. You will complete 12 units to for a portfolio of work that is internally assessed. Key areas include marketing, customer care, business organisations, enterprise skills and business finance. When you complete the course you come out with an insight into the world of work and be prepared for further study. After successful completion of this course students can progress onto a Level 3 course offered in the college.

At least GCSE grade 4 in English Language or Maths plus three other grade 3�s at GCSE
