Free Level 2 Bricklaying Course in Cannock. Classes run at South Staffordshire College Cannock Campus. You'll need a Level 1 Diploma in Bricklaying and a Grade 3 GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English to join. The course covers both practical bricklaying skills and the underpinning theory employers expect. You'll also develop the communication and workplace behaviour skills needed on site. The course runs full-time over 35 weeks. This is a City and Guilds level 2 bricklaying qualification, giving you a solid foundation for employment in the trade.

The course consists of both practical and theoretical elements, and you must successfully complete both parts to achieve this qualification. Employers will expect good attendance, behaviour, and communication skills, enabling you to interact with clients, work safely, use initiative, and demonstrate bricklaying skills.

As the programme progresses, you will build upon your skills in preparation for practical assessments and knowledge tests. The programme will prepare you for employment as a skilled craftsperson. A large part of the programme is project-based, allowing you to acquire practical skills and job-related knowledge. You will need to have a successful completion of a level 1 Diploma in Bricklaying

And

Grade 3 GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
