Free Level 2 Bench Joinery Course in St Albans. Classes run at Oaklands College St Albans Campus, full-time during the day, over 36 weeks. You'll build the skills and knowledge needed to work as a bench joiner, covering health and safety, construction principles, and hands-on practical work including setting out, marking, and manufacturing joinery products such as doors and stairs. You'll also learn to set up and use electrical carpentry tools including routers and circular saws. Entry requires a minimum of four GCSEs at grade 3 or above, including grade 4 in maths or English, plus a Level 1 qualification.

The aim of the course is to put in place all the skills and knowledge that is required to
become a good bench joiner.
The course consists of multiple choice on-line exams two core units: Health & Safety in construction and Principles of Construction.
