Free Level 2 Beauty Therapy Course in Norwich. Classes run at City College Norwich, part-time during the day over one year. You'll cover a mix of practical treatments and theory, starting by practising on each other before moving to client-facing assessments. Units include client consultation, facial treatments, health and safety, reception, and retailing products and services. Entry is based on your interest and commitment, so you'll be assessed at the start to make sure the course is the right fit.
Who this course is for
Your timetable includes a mixture of both practical and theory lessons. Initially you practice the treatments on each other; this is important as a beauty therapist needs to know what the treatments feel like in order to have empathy with their clients. You will then go through pre-observations and final assessments. In this course you will study units which cover Client care and communication Retailing products and services Client consultation Health and safety Reception Facial treatments Waxing Manicure and pedicure Lash and brow treatments Make-up You will learn through a mixture of theory classes, including time allocated to individual tutorial to support you, as well as practical sessions in one of our well-equipped salons. The course is delivered over two evenings per week from 6pm to 9pm, as well as Saturdays from 9am to 1pm.
