Free Level 2 Barbering Course in Farnborough. Evening barbering classes run at Farnborough College of Technology, so you can fit study around work or other commitments. Over 34 weeks part-time, you'll develop the practical cutting, shaving, and styling skills that barbers use every day. The course covers men's hair services from consultation through to finishing. You'll work toward a VTCT barbering qualification recognised by salons and barbershops.

What you will learn
You'll learn to consult with clients and identify the right services for them.
You'll practise clipper and scissor cutting techniques for a range of men's styles.
You'll develop wet shaving and facial hair shaping skills.
You'll learn to style and finish hair using professional tools and products.
You'll understand scalp and hair condition and how to adapt your approach.
You'll follow health, safety, and hygiene standards throughout every service.
How you will learn
Learning is classroom-based with hands-on practical sessions. You'll be assessed through observed practical tasks, where an assessor watches you carry out barbering services to a set standard.
