Free Level 2 Awareness of Mental Health Problems Course. Study online at your own pace, fitting learning around your life.

Around a quarter of British adults experience a mental health problem each year. This course gives you a solid grounding in the most common conditions, their causes, and how they affect people's lives. You'll explore topics such as depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, and eating disorders. The course typically takes two months to complete. An initial assessment is required before you enrol.

You'll finish with an NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health Problems.

Who this course is for

Mental health presents one of the greatest challenges to our society. With an estimated 450 million people worldwide suffering from a mental health problem, around a quarter of British adults will experience some form of mental health problem within the course of a year. While many elements of mental health are still not understood, having a good knowledge of the information that is available is essential in the care sector.
