About this course

Free Level 2 Art and Design Course in Bury. Classes run full-time at Bury College, with an intake each September.

Entry requirements

For Level 2 Art and Design: 4 GCSEs at grade 9-3 (including English Language and either Art or Design) OR GCSE 9-3 in English Language & Art or Design and a Pass on the Art, Design, Media Level 1 Course. If Art/Design not studied at GCSE, need to present a portfolio of work.

You'll learn through a mix of tutor-led assignments and live brief projects. All units are assessed through a coursework portfolio. There are no exams. Your work is internally assessed at Bury College and externally moderated by University of the Arts London.

You'll need an art pack and sketchbooks or mounting materials. There may be additional costs for some photographic materials and colour computer printouts. Bury College will confirm the full list of materials before you start.
