Free Level 2 Allergy Awareness Course. Study online, at your own pace, in your own time. The course typically takes up to 12 weeks and covers allergens, food labelling, recognising allergic reactions, reducing risks, and providing first aid. A final module focuses on working with children, making this a practical allergy awareness qualification for anyone in a childcare or youth-facing role. You'll study through an online platform with support from tutors.

Who this course is for

The qualification is suitable for a wide range of learners who wish to develop their knowledge and understanding of allergy awareness. It is designed for those who wish to understand allergies, the causes of allergies and what to do in case of an allergic reaction. This version of the course includes a final module which is tailored to those who work with children.

Entry requirements

To be eligible for funding, you must live in England and have resided in the UK or EU/EEA for the last 3 years, must be aged 19 or over, must not have previously studied the course you are applying for or another similar course and must not currently be enrolled on another government-funded education programme. If you are aged between 19 and 23 - you must hold a full level 2 qualification If you're not eligible for funding, you can purchase the course online if you are over the age of 16.

How you will learn

You study entirely online through a digital learning platform, working through units at your own pace. Assessment is built into the course. On successful completion, you receive a digital e-certificate issued by TQUK. Tutor support is available throughout.
