Free Level 2 Agriculture Course in Shrewsbury. Classes run at Walford College, full-time during the day. You'll train on a commercial farm, building practical skills in livestock, crops, and machinery alongside the knowledge and behaviours the industry expects. The course runs for one year. To join, you'll need at least four GCSEs at grade 3 or above, including English and maths, or a related Level 1 qualification with good progress in English and maths.
Who this course is for
On our commercial farm you will develop the practical skills, knowledge and behaviours to help you take a step closer to working in the industry or further education. You will gain knowledge in the fundamentals of agriculture including livestock, crop and machinery work and you will develop industry skills and behaviours.
