Free Level 2 Accounting Course in Catterick Garrison. Classes run at Catterick Library & Information Centre, part-time during the day. You'll have an initial assessment to confirm this is the right level for you. The course covers computerised accounting using Sage, building practical skills you can use directly in a workplace. It runs over 8 weeks. This is a free accounting course for adults aged 19 or over who meet the funding eligibility criteria. You'll leave with a VTCT Certificate in Computerised Accounting for Business.

This is an 8-week accredited distance learning course for those who wish to gain a Sage Accounts qualification at a time that suits them.
Entry requirements
To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August in the current academic year and not be an apprentice,further eligibility may be linked to where you live and your individual income.

You'll produce basic financial reports.

How you will learn

Assessment is based on practical tasks completed within the Sage software, demonstrating your ability to carry out real accounting processes. Your work is submitted for marking as you progress through the course.
