Level 1 MMA Welding Course in Doncaster. Classes run at Doncaster College, full-time during the day. If you're 16 to 18 years old, the course may be free. If you're 19 or over, fees may apply depending on your prior qualifications and personal circumstances. This level 1 mma welding course covers the fundamental skills and knowledge behind manual metal arc welding and fabrication. It's a full-time, one-year programme. You'll have an initial assessment in maths and English, and attend an interview, to make sure this is the right starting point for you.

This course is an engineering taster programme and is the perfect option for any student wishing to take their very first steps into fabrication and welding. The course covers the fundamental skills and knowledge common to all welding engineering practices.

Entry requirements

  • 2 GCSEs grades G and above • Entry Level 3 in Engineering • All applicants must complete an initial assessment in Maths and English and attend an individual interview. Entry requirements may be waived for mature students who have relevant experience.
