About this course

Free Level 1 Hair and Beauty Course in Hull. Classes run at Hull College, full-time during the day.

The course covers personal and employability skills alongside practical hairdressing techniques. You'll practise these skills in the college's training salons over the course of a year. You'll need maths and English at grade 1 (G) or above to join, along with good communication skills.

You'll finish with a Diploma in an Introduction to the Hair and Beauty Sector.

Who this course is for

During this course you will achieve a level one certificate in hairdressing, but you will be practicing the skills and learning the knowledge to enable you to progress onto one of the level 2 hairdressing qualifications that we offer at salon QG. The skills you will cover are personal and employability skills, as well as the technical skills you will develop to enable you to offer services within one of our fantastic salons at the college.
