Entry requirements
Aged 19 or over. Live in Lincolnshire. Must have the right to work and study in the UK. Must not already hold a GCSE in Maths at grade C (or 4) or above.
What you will learn
You'll work with whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percentages in everyday contexts.
You'll interpret and use measurements, including length, weight, capacity, and time.
You'll read and interpret charts, tables, and graphs.
You'll solve practical problems using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
You'll use ratio and proportion in real-life situations.
You'll check and explain your working clearly.
How you will learn
Learning is blended. You'll attend daytime sessions at Think Employment Grimsby and complete some study online. Assessment is by a written external test set and marked by Open Awards. There is no coursework portfolio. You'll sit the test when your tutor confirms you are ready.
