Free Level 1 Functional Skills English Course in Great Yarmouth. Classes run at East Norfolk Sixth Form College. You'll have an assessment during enrolment to confirm this is the right level for you. The course builds your reading, writing, and communication skills over 12 months of full-time daytime study. Level 1 is a stepping stone: succeed here and you can move on to Level 2 the following year, which is the recognised GCSE English equivalent.
Who this course is for
The English Functional Skills course is designed to help build your skills and confidence in English so that you can progress either to the next level of English Functional Skills or the GCSE English Language course, depending what Level of Functional Skills you start on.
