Level 1 Electrical Installation Course in Colchester. Classes run full-time at Adult Skills Centre Colchester. It is free if you are 16 to 18 years old. If you are 19 or over, fees may apply. This is Year 1 of a two-year programme. You will study electrical principles and complete practical projects in industry-standard workshops. The course typically takes 9 months. To start, you will need three GCSEs including Maths at grade 4 or above and English at grade 3 or above, or the Functional Skills equivalents, plus an interview.
