About this course

Free Level 1 Effective Thinking Skills Course in Catterick Garrison. Classes run at Catterick Library & Information Centre on evenings, so you can fit study around your week. This is a short course, running over 4 hours in total. You'll develop practical approaches to problem solving and communication, building skills that support you in work and everyday life. Entry requirements

To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August in the current academic year and not be an apprentice,further eligibility may be linked to where you live and your individual income.

You'll learn through classroom-based sessions at Catterick Library & Information Centre. Teaching is delivered face to face in the evening. Assessment for the NCFE Award for Developing Effective Thinking Skills is based on your work completed during the course. Your tutor will guide you through activities and discussion to build and evidence your skills.

The centre will provide most materials. Catterick Library & Information Centre will confirm anything else you need before you start.
