Free Level 1 Early Years Course in Pickering. Classes run at Atmosphere Centre for Young People, in the evening so you can fit study around other commitments. Over six months, you'll get a grounded introduction to working in early years settings, covering the basics of childcare practice and the environments where young children learn and develop. You'll have an initial assessment to make sure this is the right starting point for you. A great way to begin a level 1 early years qualification.

Entry requirements
To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August in the current academic year and not be an apprentice,further eligibility may be linked to where you live and your individual income.

The centre will provide most materials. Atmosphere Centre for Young People will confirm anything else you need before you start.
