About this course

Level 1 Diploma Plumbing Course in Braintree. Classes run full-time at Adult Skills Centre Braintree, daytime, over 9 months. If you're 16 to 18 years old, the course may be free. If you're 19 or over, fees may apply. You'll need 3 GCSEs (grades 9 to 3) including English and Maths, or a Level 1 Functional Skills equivalent, plus an interview. You'll build the practical skills and knowledge needed to start working toward a career as a plumber, training in industry-standard workshops with real materials. The course also develops your English, maths and employability skills alongside the trade content.

Entry requirements

3 GCSEs (9-1) which must include both English and Maths at 9-3, or Level 1 Functional Skills equivalent, and an interview. Progression to Level 2 � Satisfactory completion of the Level 1 Qualification and via a progression interview.
