About this course

Free Level 1 Creative Media Course in Hackney. Classes run at ELATT Shoreditch, full-time during the day.

The course runs for 10 weeks. It is a skills-based introduction to the media industry. You will explore graphic design, video production, photography, music and audio production, and game design basics. Learning happens through project-based tasks and theory units that give you insight into working in the media industry. You will need English at Entry Level 3 and basic IT skills to join.

You will finish with a Level 1 Diploma in Creative Media Skills.

Who this course is for

ur media course is a skills based introduction to the media industry. The course is designed to explore the fundamentals of the digital media. It focuses on developing creative skills through project based tasks, as well as completing theory units that will give you insight into the working in the media industry.

You will learn Graphic Design, Video Production, Photography, Music/Audio Production and Game Design basics. You will be taught be experienced teachers, and we also support you with employability, including opportunities to speak to professionals and access mentoring, volunteering and work experience.

Entry requirements

English: Entry 3 (Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing) IT: Basic Skills Please bring your prior qualification certificates with you to your first Assessment meeting. If you don't have your certificates, we'll ask you to complete a short English and IT assessment so that we can make sure you're ready for this course.
