The course is aimed at Staffordshire residents aged 19+. Designed for those with little or no experience, this course will help you explore what a teaching assistant does, the types of schools they work in, and the everyday tasks involved. Through practical activities and real-life scenarios, you’ll build your confidence in supporting reading, writing and maths in the classroom, and learn about the key personal skills needed, like patience, communication and teamwork.
