Free Level 1 Car Mechanic Course in Nottingham. Classes run at West Notts College Station Park Construction, full-time during the day. The course runs for one year and gives you a solid grounding in the motor vehicle industry. You'll work in workshops using modern tools and equipment, and carry out servicing and repair tasks on real customer vehicles. Topics include engines, steering and suspension, braking, wheels and tyres, diagnostics, and engineering. You'll need GCSE English and Maths at grade 2 to 9, or an equivalent qualification such as Functional Skills.

Through our live learning company you will work on customer cars to carry out serving and repair tasks. GCSE English Language and Maths at grade 2-9. If you are not studying a traditional GCSE programme, we accept alternative qualifications like Functional Skills and vocational courses.
