About this course

Free Level 1 BTEC Introductory Certificate in Caring for Children Under Five Course. Study online. You study at your own pace, so you can fit the course around your other commitments. No travel needed. Over 8 weeks, you'll cover the foundations of caring for young children, including their development, health, and wellbeing. You need to be fluent in English to join. This free btec introductory certificate in caring for children under five course is open to adults aged 19 and over who are not currently in work or education.

How you will learn

All study is online. You'll work through learning materials at your own pace and complete assignments to demonstrate your understanding. Assessment is portfolio-based, with written tasks and evidence you build up as you progress through the course. There are no exams. Acorn Training will guide you through what to submit and when.
