Entry requirements

For Level 1 Bricklaying: 3 GCSEs at grade 9-3 (including Maths and English Language) OR GCSE 9-3 in Maths & English Language and a Pass on the L1 Diploma in Preparation for Employment in the Construction Industry.

What you will learn

  • You'll set out basic masonry structures accurately.
  • You'll mix construction materials correctly and safely.
  • You'll read and interpret technical information and building design documents.

How you will learn

Learning is classroom-based and practical, with hands-on sessions where you'll work on real bricklaying tasks. Assessment runs throughout the year at the end of each unit.
