Free Level 1 Art, Design and Media Course in Norwich. Classes run at City College Norwich, full-time during the day, over one year. You'll explore drawing, painting, sculpture, and a range of other art forms, spending much of your time working hands-on in the art rooms. The course suits those who have completed school, as well as those returning to education after a gap. An initial assessment helps make sure this is the right starting point for you.
Who this course is for
Students work towards the University of the Arts London (UAL) Level 1 Award in Art, Design and Media during one year of study. If you want to build your confidence and develop your art skills in a supportive and nurturing environment, then this is the course for you. You will need to have a willingness to explore different art forms, including drawing and painting using different mediums and sculpture. We spend a lot of time in the art rooms so this is a full-on course experimenting with many different methods and materials. In addition to your main programme, you will develop your English and Maths; with the majority of students studying towards their Functional Skills English and maths.
