The HTR1 is a half-day assessment for engineers, covering installation of all types of gas fires and the servicing and fault finding on radiant gas fires, convector gas fires, inset gas fires and decorative fuel effect gas fires. Candidates must hold a current CCN1 core gas safety assessment prior to applying. Gas work on gas fires requires engineers should hold a HTR 1 certificate.
This is a full cost course. There is no fee remission available and you cannot apply for an advanced learner loan to pay for your fees.
