A Foundation Degree in Coaching Science awarded by Oxford Brookes University, successfully gaining 240 credits and usually a 55% grade average. • A Foundation Degree in Coaching Science or related discipline in Sports Coaching awarded by another University, successfully gaining 240 credits and usually a 55% grade average, subject to individual credit rating by Oxford Brookes University. • The Higher National Diploma in Sport & Exercise Sciences delivered at Solihull College, successfully gaining 240 credits with a Merit profile at Level 5. • A Higher National Diploma in Sports Science or a related subject from another institution, successfully gaining 240 credits with a Merit profile at Level 5, subject to individual credit rating by Oxford Brookes University and completion of certain core units. • GCSE Mathematics & English Language at 4/C grade minimum. • Students for whom English is not their main language also need to show that their English is at a high enough level to succeed in their studies by achieving a score in a recognised test. • IELTS 6.0 (with 6.0 in reading and writing, 5.5 in listening and speaking • A current DBS will be required.
