Our public services course will help you handle challenging circumstances and develop skills that are essential in these services. While on the course, you will gain invaluable, first-hand experience from members of staff with public service experience in the Police, RAF and a range of other services. Skills for public service work are combined with exploring social issues, developing your personal fitness, playing sport and taking part in various outdoor activities. You will further develop your English and maths through Functional Skills and you will build your IT skills by completing the various elements of the course. How you will learn
You'll learn through classroom lessons at Bracknell & Wokingham College, five days a week during the day. Teaching covers all topic areas of the Pearson Edexcel specification. Assessment is by written examination: three papers at the end of the year, one non-calculator and two calculator papers. There is no coursework component.
