Free GCSE English Language Course in Birmingham. Classes run at Washwood Heath Academy, full-time during the day.

This is designed for learners whose first language is English. Learners develop the ability to communicate clearly, accurately and effectively in both speech and writing. They learn how to employ a wide-ranging vocabulary, use correct grammar, spelling and punctuation, and develop a personal style and an awareness of the audience being addressed.

How you will learn

The AQA GCSE English Language is assessed by two written exams. Paper 1 covers creative reading and writing. Paper 2 covers writers' viewpoints and perspectives. There is no coursework, but spoken language is assessed separately and endorsed on your certificate. Classes are classroom based, full-time during the day at Washwood Heath Academy.
