Free Functional Skills Maths Level 2 in Bristol. Classes run at Bristol Community Learning, at community venues across Bristol, during the day on a part-time basis. The course takes around 4 months and is designed for adults who don't yet have a GCSE in maths. It covers the same ground as a GCSE maths equivalent, and the Level 2 certificate is the recognised alternative when employers ask for GCSE maths or equivalent. You'll have an initial assessment to confirm the right level for you.

What you will learn
You'll work with numbers, including fractions, decimals, and percentages

You'll develop the skills to check and communicate your working clearly
How you will learn
You'll learn in a classroom setting with a tutor, working through topics at a manageable pace. Assessment is by a written exam set by NOCN. There is no coursework element at Level 2. Your tutor will prepare you for the exam throughout the course.
