About this course

Free Functional Skills Maths Level 1 in Kensington and Chelsea. Classes run at St Charles Catholic Sixth Form College. You'll start with Entry Level 3 Maths and progress through to Level 1 over the course of a year, studying full-time during the day. The course covers numbers, fractions, decimals, percentages, measures, shape and space, and handling data. It's a recognised gcse maths alternative and sits at the same level as a GCSE grade 3 or below. Online tests can be taken when you and your teacher agree you're ready.

What you will learn

How you will learn

You'll learn in a classroom alongside your teacher, covering topics at a pace that suits your progress. Assessment is by online test, taken when your teacher judges you're ready. There is no fixed exam date, so you can take the test once you've covered the material and feel prepared. You'll also work through Entry Level 3 before moving on to Level 1.
