About this course

Free Functional Skills Maths Level 1 Course in Millom. Classes run at Millom Community Hub, part-time during the day.

The course runs over 18 weeks. You'll study number, measures, and handling data, building the maths skills used in everyday life and work. It covers the same ground as a GCSE maths alternative at Level 1, and many employers accept it as a recognised maths qualification. You'll have an initial and diagnostic assessment before you start, so the course is matched to your level.

You'll finish with a Pearson Edexcel Functional Skills Qualification in Mathematics at Level 1.
