About this course

Free Functional Skills English Level 2 in Catterick Garrison. Evening classes run at Catterick Library & Information Centre, so you can fit study around work or other commitments. To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August in the current academic year and not be an apprentice, further eligibility may be linked to where you live and we will check that at enrolment stage and may contact

How you will learn

Classes are classroom based, held in the evening at Catterick Library & Information Centre. You'll work through reading and writing tasks in class, with support from a tutor. Assessment is by externally set and marked tests covering reading and writing. You'll have an initial assessment before you start to confirm that Level 2 is the right level for you, and to help plan your learning.
